Smith uploaded the version to his website, The Super Random, writing, "I'm both thrilled & grateful that #TeamBey decided to make our song the single and it sounds awesome... But, this is what the song sounded like when we wrote it...I like this version... Mostly because it's not a ballad."

NEWS: Lauryn Hill Gives Birth To Her Sixth Child

There has been an edition to the Hill/Marley clan; singer Lauryn Hill gave birth to her sixth child over the weekend.

Along with longtime partner, Rohan Marley, the couple welcomed their sixth child together on Saturday (July 23rd).

According to Blackcelebkids.com, award-winning singer “had a little scare because the baby came out the womb with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck.” But mother and child are doing fine. “All is well now and everyone is happy,” adds the source.

Hill is due to perform at next month's Rock The Bells festival and hopefully may continue on in making new music in the future. Let's hope so!

NEWS: Jay-Z And Kanye West Announce Album Release And Tour Dates

Heavyweight rappers, Jay Z and Kanye have officially formed a group named The Throne and have now released their album release date to their fans. Their collaborative album, 'Watch The Throne' is due to be released via iTunes August 8th, while the retailer date falls on August 12th.

On the same date as the iTunes release (August 8th), the ticket sale of the duo's North American tour will also be released via Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. The 'Watch The Throne Tour' kicks off September 22nd in Detroit and ends November 3rd in Boston, while travelling to cities such as Chicago, L.A., Las Vegas and Atlanta.

NEWS: Amy Winehoue Dies Aged 27

Sadly singer Amy Winehouse died yesterday aged 27 at her home in Camden, North London.

 Reports have said:

“Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased. On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.”

It is thought Amy died from a suspected drugs overdose, with one man claiming it was an ecstasy.

Amy was last seen at the iTunes festival this week supporting her god-daughter Dionne Bromfield.(Watch the video above)
